Reality TV comes to the North-East, courtesy of an ambitious TV producer in desperate need of finding a ratings-winning programme - and fast - to save his job. The idea is simple - find a local quine with limited social skills and transform her in the course of a week into a West-End society beauty; all for the benefit of the local TV audience watching live on Grampian. The producer discovers a strong-willed local lassie from Fittie whilst filming a news-piece on killer seagulls at the Beach Boulevard and he sets out to win the hearts and minds of the Aberdeen public. Will the Aberdeen public buy into our heroine's transformation? Will the programme receive brilliant crits and ratings alike? Will this be another Student Show smash hit? Undoubtedly.
