Fishtales and the Common Ring archiveFor Easter Saturday it is a delight to welcome to the theatre Rowan Tree's John Nichol and Hilary Bell with the evergreen Fishtales. Based on stories by John Buchan these tales are full of humour, irony and a touch of supernaturalism, superbly complemented by the consummate skills of John's storytelling and Hilary's music. To make a complete evening and as an introduction to the Common Riding season, the company will also be performing Hugh McDiarmid's short story about Langholm Common Riding. An evening straight from the heart of the Borders.
