Fefu and Her Friends archiveFefu and Her Friends is a play about women. Set in New England during the 1930s, eight women come together to meet about fundraising. This story of women - friends, lovers, and colleagues - explores a psychological and symbolic insight, and also a sense of urgency. How the women are connected, their histories and affections, the underlying tensions and pains that determine their relationships are the concerns of the play.
