The easiest answer is to say that, like most other humans, I am hungry' M.F.K. Fisher Feast is about food. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner portray the evolution of humanity from primordial soup to the grotesque excesses of consumerism (with plenty of delicious distraction between them).
