Fear of Fanny archiveA comedy based on the life of Fanny Cradock, the original TV Chef and retro Icon. She taught the young middle class housewives of Britain how to cook, and did so with the energetic ferocious style and wit for which she is well remembered. Hers was a very short fuse. Perfect dinner parties were prepared, homely advice given...and fools were not suffered gladly and all in a Norman Hartnell ball-gown. But how much did we actually know about her? Was it all a stage routine? Did her monocled, 'long suffering' husband Johnnie really suffer? Did he need the monocle? And was he actually her husband? And what became of her three previous husbands? Why did her two sons walk out of her life, never to return? And how did the future finally catch up with Fanny Cradock?
