Fawlty Towers - Live on Stage

Work:: Fawlty Towers (S870152419)

The fabulous, if short lived, TV series on stage.
Author John Cleese
Author Connie Booth

Production:: Live on Stage (T02051367011)

Set in a hotel in Torquay, there were only 12 episodes of Fawlty Towers made between 1975 and 1979. Now, more than 30 years on, three of the best loved episodes of the classic BBC TV series written by John Cleese and Connie Booth will be presented live on stage. Audiences can expect to see snobbish Torquay hotel owner, Basil, trying to rule the roost in competition with his domineering and over-coiffured wife Sybil. While calm and capable waitress Polly keeps the peace, and hopeless Barcelona-born waiter Manuel adds to the mayhem. With even more favourite characters from the award-winning sitcom set to make appearances, such as resident guests The Major, Miss Tibbs and Miss Gatsby and a steady stream of abused guests, this fun-filled show should not be missed.
