Fathers and Sons archiveBrimming with destructive revolutionary zeal, the young Nihilist Bazarov wants to 'smash people' to remake Russia. He dismisses anything that he considers to be useless, such as beauty, art and love. But what happens when life and fate conspire to frustrate Bazarov's politics?
