Family Plot is a highly original play dealing with themes of family, conflict and reconciliation in boldly heightened theatrical style. Three generations of Kerrs are dead and buried in their family grave - but are still arguing and condemned to spend eternity in each other's company. It is only when the youngest and last of the family line arrives that their story of forgotten love and shocking betrayal can be resolved once and for all. To begin with the family's absurd predicament is darkly comic. But as playwright Daragh Carville expertly reveals long hidden truths, Family Plot becomes a gripping and terrifying portrayal of lives damaged by secrets and lies.
