Everything Under the Sun

Work:: Everything Under the Sun (S0901395861)

Manchester's leading community theatre company, HMF Theatre, based at the Library Theatre Company, will be presenting Everything Under the Sun, a piece devised by the company which celebrates the history of Manchester's famous markets for three performances in the run-up to Christmas, at the Manchester Christmas Market on King Street in the city centre. Ailsa Amos, a graduate of the Design course at Huddersfield University, has designed the production. Devised as a drop-in piece of theatre to be performed on a specially built and designed market stall, and performed by a cast of eight from Longsight, Hulme, Old Trafford, Hulme, Chorlton, and Whalley Range, Everything Under the Sun captures the magic of the market place and features a host of stories and tales of the traders doing their patter as the punters haggle for a bargain.
