Emily's House archiveGillian's mum and Ben's dad have just got married and have bought a new house so that the four can live together as one new family. It's a pity then that Ben and Gillian hate each other so much. They want their lives to be as they were before away from the house and away from each other. However, also living in the house, is the ghost of a young girl called Emily. She is equally unhappy with the new situation and desperately wants rid of these strangers. And she is prepared to use mischief to force them out. Ben and Gillian soon realise that this ghostly presence can be used for their own advantage. They harness the chaos Emily causes and soon splits occur within the new family unit and tension mounts between the parents. However, the ghost's antics soon get out of hand and Ben and Gillian realise that they have unleashed a power they cannot control. They have to struggle to overcome their differences and unite to put the ghost to rest once and for all - before it's all too late. Age 9+
