Life at Eden was filmed day after day from before the pit was purchased to the day it opened in a blaze of worldwide publicity. Over 2500 hours of footage has been edited down to 135 minutes. It's all here, from construction against all odds during some of Cornwall's worst weather, tot he sourcing, nurturing and planting of over 120,000 plants from across the world. the endless quest for funding, the deadlines, the difficult meetings, the challenging days and the elation of finally opening are all captured by the film crew. A film in two parts with a short interval. Music composed and arranged by Jim Carey.
