Set in the South Tongu district of the Volta Region of Ghana, 'Dreams Of An African Child' is the moving and powerful story of 16-year-old Peter whose future was snatched away when he was sold into modern day slavery by his family when he was just eight years old. Having spent many years under the watch of a typically cruel 'master', the boy has finally run away and returns to his family, eight years later.
