Daylight Robbery

Work:: Daylight Robbery (S2955)

Tells the story of an Asian immigrant widow who runs a small corner shop in Glasgow. The play tells of her struggle to keep her business going, her childhood in India, her memories of her late husband, her life as a single mother and breadwinner, and her offbeat and comical relationships with a variety of her customers. Performed by one actor and a musician the play explores the casual and gragile relationships that develop between the widow and those who use her shop.
