An hilarious stage comedy from the classic TV series.
Author David Croft
Author Jimmy Perry

Production:: (T01548105971)

It's 1940, the Battle of Britain rages over head. Our brave lads prepare for Adolf's Invasion and they need all the help they can get. So come and Join the boys of the Warmington-on-Sea Home Guard as they do their bit for King and country. All donations welcome - especially weapons old and new. (No more broom handles!). Celebrating the much loved BBC series, four episodes have been adapted by the original writers (Jimmy Perry and David Croft) for the stage. True to the classic and wonderfully funny series, your favourite characters are bought back to life on stage with all your favourite catchphrases, "Don't panic!" "They don't like it up 'em!" "Stupid boy" and "Doomed. We're all doomed". Forty years on, this production cannot fail to capture the nation's affection for British bulldog spirit and inherent ineptitude.
