This haunting thriller is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's short stories and his tragic life, encapsulating all the mystery, fantasy and sheer terror of Poe's strange genius.Creaking Shadows begins when Emily and her new husband Dennis pay a visit to her grandmother, a former English lecturer who is fascinated by Poe. Emily unwittingly brings Poe's spirit into the house in the form of a gift to her grandmother...Set against a sumptuous gothic set and an eerie cinematic soundtrack, this mix of masks, dance and physical comedy creates a chilling world in which the visual story becomes more important than the spoken word.
