Does an actor have the skills to deceive almost anyone? This question is explored in the third play Acting Exercise when actor Rowan convinces a fuming Jeffrey that he is not having an affair with his wife! When is an actor not an actor? When they're dead. However, deceased thespians Howard and Lily Drummond still find comfort in reminiscing their long career in the theatre only to discover that they only ever really lived on the stage. A poignant swansong, that lets us remember their Last Things.
