Clean and Static archiveFringe First Winners at the Edinburgh Festival 2000, Unlimited Theatre present a double bill of theatre in which dark comedy, extremity, murder and real life meet head on. Clean unlocks the minds of Ann and Mag, two psychotic domestics trying to keep everything (their messy lives included) spotless as can be and wondering how far they have to go to feel really cleansed. Together they are very dangerous, very secret and very silly. Cross the road if you see them - you have been warned! In Statica man narrates the mundanity of his life in a dark stand up routine, until he switches on the TV news and sees a young woman's life torn apart. Static is a moving, witty and timely reminder that the blood on TV isn't always make up and that there's more to life and death than processed cheese and public transport.
