Children of the Night archiveThe Byker Wall. 1994. Thatcherism has taken jobs from the Tyne, Andy Cole is scoring goals for fun at St. James' Park and Let's Get Ready to Rumble is top of the pops - but the cool kids are into Rave music. A young lad goes missing. The only clue left behind is a brand-new trainer covered in blood. Running around the estate, knocking door to door and creating chaos, Jam and Gash race to find their best mate, before Mam finds out he's missing. Children of the Night is a quest through the streets of the Wall and the lives of the children that pound them.
