Carol Smillie Trashed My Room

Work:: Carol Smillie Trashed My Room (S2108431454)

Leslie and Jemima's infatuation with light entertainment is jeopardised when they are visited by the Changing Rooms team. Will their relationship survive the dark revelations that emerge as a result of their newly acquired allotment - style living room? Carol Smillie Trashed My Room is a comedy about our favourite pastime, television viewing. Some of the most popular programmes are included in this fast paced, visual comedy that manages to squeeze into thirty minutes Family Fortunes, Take Your Pick, Gladiators, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Changing Rooms and Stars In Their Eyes. It is in design that his show comes into its own. Carol Smillie redecorates their living room with their garden, bringing the outdoors indoors. The feat of design and construction that allows this spectacle to occur has brought plaudits from those who have seen the show before. With performances that are "wittily and skilfully performed" Carol Smillie Trashed My Room will be one of the more charming and funnier moments of this year's festival. With references that everyone will appreciate (unless you do not know who Chris Tarrant is) and a quality of performance and design that will impress even the most experienced festival goer, this production promises to be a draw for all.
