Capital Nights archiveAn hilarious and touching double bill, 'Johnny Song' and 'It's Better with a Band'. 'Johnny Song' is the story of a street poet and his faithful friend Drummer Boy. Together they hit the streets of London to see if anyone other than the sparrows will listen to them. Everyone they encounter hears Drummer Boy's beats and the words of Johnny Song - but are the people of the capital ready for them? 'It's Better with a Band', is set in Brian's kitchen where he is busy preparing for a 'bit of a do'. However, very soon Brian finds himself reminiscing about his childhood - sharing the memories of his mother and father, and his showbusiness dreams.
