Can You Hear Me Running?

Can You Hear Me Running?

Work:: Can You Hear Me Running? (S01930490559)

Can You Hear Me Running? follows the incredible real-life journey of Louise Breckon-Richards - a performer who lost her voice due to a rare condition and tried to overcome it by running the London Marathon. In 2009, Louise was auditioning for the global smash-hit Mamma Mia. But then illness shattered her chances and her voice gave way. Pushing on, Louise swapped song sheets for trainers, embracing a new challenge as she fought to re-find her voice. Using Louise's actual notes, blog entries and her diary, playwright Jo Harper shows us Louise as she meets a host of people on her journey, from voice professionals to new-age healers. Can You Hear Me Running? is a fun and thought-provoking one-woman show about defiance in face of all the odds.
