Busybody archiveDet. Supt.Harry Baxter is plagued by a head cold and two 'busybodies' - a corpse that disappears and Mrs Piper, the officious and chatty office cleaner who discovered it. All the office staff and the corpse's wife are suspect, but when the corpse walks in alive and well, this is almost the last straw for Baxter. However Mrs Piper insists she saw a body, though is no longer sure whose and Baxter is persuaded to continue his investigations, naturally enthusiastically 'helped' by Mrs Piper. However, it is she who finally identifies both corpse and murderer, obtains a confession - and then throws it away!
