1998. Ben Lynton, 'the greatest writer of the 20th Century' , is dead. There's even talk of a national Ben Lynton Day! Then Ben's other eggs begin to hatch. On this most momentous of days, a seemingly innocent visitor emerges from the shadows. The dark secret he carries will tear the family apart and shock the entire world. What exactly is the truth? And who has the right to know it? Is the golden goose about to become an albatross round his family's neck? Who must they bribe, bully, blackmail or bump off to keep his secrets safe, his myth alive and his money theirs. More importantly, where is Cordelia? What's in the safety deposit box? And, of the two mysterious masterpieces, which is 'The Real McCoy.
