Bricking It
Work:: Bricking It (S772633854)
Pat Griffin is 73 years old. Pat is a builder. That's what he does. His daughter Joanna Griffin is 29 years old. Joanna is a writer-performer. That's who she is. Is it actually that simple? BRICKING IT will see Pat and Joanna swap jobs: comedy-virgin Pat will learn how to be a comedian, while Joanna will build the stage for his first ever performance at Battersea Arts Centre. Pat thinks Joanna's never done an honest day's work in her life. Joanna thinks you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Together, they want to find out what it really means to walk in another (wo)man's shoes. This largely improvised show will look at how much of what you do, affects who you are - will Pat disappear from site or will he bring the house down?
CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
