An ageing Colombian, selling reproduction paintings from a stall along Green Park, is commissioned to produce a painting in the Fernando Botero style by a mystery lady with a secret plan: blowing up Tate Modern. An urban fairy tale grows into a political-artistic mock-thriller under the shadow of the impending US intervention in Colombia.
