Boesky's Choice archivePhizitico likes the finer things in life: money, power and fame are all she craves and she will use any means available to achieve them. Her recipe for success is 'steal, manipulate, lie and cheat and when that doesn t work, her secret possession serves her well. Boesky and Vituro however, have other pressing matters. Just holding on to a job was hard enough, but when the boss sacks Boesky, poor Vituro is lured into a life of debauchery, alcohol, fast women and petty crime. With Vituro playing songbird to somebody else s tune and Boesky running a shop that gets mysteriously robbed on a daily basis, things couldn t be bleaker - until Boesky finds out what Phiztico s secret possession is - But will Boesky become a material girl? Or will she do the right thing? The production was developed with young people in the London Borough of Islington in line with the company s aim to make the devising theatre process more accessible. Boesky s Choice will be the company s second production, following Black and Blue, which played in London, York and Edinburgh between August 1999 and July 2000.
