Blue Black Sister archivePerformed by spoken-word poet and artist Chanje Kunda, BLUE BLACK SISTER draws on the experience of growing up as a young girl in this country, being black, being a woman, and what it was like being part of a large, eccentric and volatile family, with all the ups and downs, laughter and tears that it involved. Using poetry and storytelling, interlinked with projected photographic art and motion film created by her two sisters, Chanje takes the audience on an emotional journey that explores human sentiment, gender identity and sexuality.
