Belonging archiveSet within the Irish community in Birmingham, it is remarkably lyrical, humorous and passionate play about living with the past and the meaning of home. To march proudly together through the streets of Birmingham this year on St Patrick's Day is all Maura has wanted for her family since the pub bombings of 1974, when the Irish Community decided themselves to stop the parade. Now with her husband's health failing and her two children constantly arguing, she also dreams of returning to her beloved Ireland. But her husband's old friend Billy has news to impart which means that things will never be the same.
