Awusa archiveGrowing up in London, Leroy, (later named Tettey Obaaba) an adopted young man shows a great interest in street dance as an art form and invites his friends in the neighbourhood to form a dance group. After a few months rehearsals, they plan their first performance when Leroy has a strange dream during which he encounters masked images who control this choreographic movements telling him to examine himself and find out who he is. Upon enquiries, he receives a confession from his adoptive parents as to who he is, and with their blessing he seeks more spiritual enquiries about his real/natural parents who he traces to Ghana. He travels there for a real bounding revelation. The story develops from there.
