Twelfth Night - T01483812640

Intrigued by a suitcase of memorabilia found in an attic Another Way Theatre present an "old time music hall" inspired production of Twelfth Night. Music is the food of love in this ambitious production, combining live music, original songs and moving images to create an innovative telling of Shakespeare’s bitter-sweet masterpiece. The story follows shipwrecked twins, Viola and Sebastian, washed up on the shores of Illyria. Fearing her brother drowned, Viola dons boys attire and falls into the service of the Duke Orsino, who sends her to win the love of the fair Olivia. And so Fate has the comedy unfold. Meanwhile, Sir Toby spends his days and nights at the music hall, watching Feste the clown in full swing, his act holding the crowds in the palm of his hand. Somewhere along the way the garishness of the music hall bleeds into Olivia’s world, turning life on its head and her servant Malvolio into a fool. A whirligig of passion, mistaken identity and love the theme... Come and join the madness... Please note: Music Hall entertainment commences 20 minutes before curtain up.Author William Shakespeare.
