Amazonia

Work:: Amazonia (S01910248241)

A dark comedy inspired by the astonishing true story of Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett, the famous quixotic British explorer, who along with his son, Jack and a young friend, vanished in 1925 during an expedition in the Amazon rainforest. A trunk of secret family archives has recently been discovered, which reveal the tragic impact Fawcett and his son's disappearance had on their family and the legacy of a sinister curse; a curse which led to the death of over 100 adventurers. Through Brian Fawcett's struggle to protect his father's secret agenda from the avid intrusions of both Hollywood and the BBC, we are taken on a journey where realities collide with astounding consequences.
