Do you not see how all is for money, master? Three births, eternal damnation and a jumble sale in 90 minutes! A 400 year old satire on some staggeringly contemporary themes: greed, charity, 'cash for wigs', student poverty, the pleasures of sin and the sins of pleasure.
All for Money, a morality play by Thomas Lupton, is a hectic parade of grotesque characters, and a clown show of all that's worst - and most enjoyable - about imperfect human nature. Through displays of astonishing wickedness, bizarre births, frantic doubling and a wild array of characters (including Satan, Damnation and a 100 year old woman) the play takes its audience on a technicolour tour through criminal netheworlds, courts, debating chambers and Hell itself.
