This is a colourful and faithful telling of the very popluar story from The 1001 Arabian Nights - told by Scheherazade. The play is performed with beautifully painted and dressed puppets, with lively and angaging Geni and Djinn, played by the puppeteer in costume and mask. It is imaginatively staged, with a beautifully palace, mysterious cave, and a wicked magician from Morocco on his magic carpet.
