A woman finds herself spat out into a strange solitary environment. Why is she here? A brick comes crashing into this world with a letter attached. Its message is devastating, and sets her spinning through a chain of bizarre events that weave together stories and fragments of the past, present and future. With her only companion a honky-tonk piano, songs of comic desperation emerge as she wrestles with her yearning for immortality - amid the inevitability of death.
