A Toe in the Water - Charles Vance Repertory Circus 2004

Work:: A Toe in the Water (S410541675)

When Gerald Corby goes off to spend a few days in a health farm, he wishes for nothing more strenuous than peace, tranquility...and more peace. As the health farm is presided over by the highly efficient and equally moral Mr Potter, he is confident that nothing will disturb is repose. However, his hopes are quickly dashed by the sudden arrival of his secretary Sandra wearing her heart on her sleeve and very little else, as she makes clear her hitherto unspoken passion for Gerald. If this weren t distracting enough, Gerald s daughter Linda then descends on the health spa to meet up in secret with her boyfriend Rodney (one of Gerald s least favourite people!), followed by wife Marion, who has apparently dropping in on her way to visit 'a friend ! As various deceptions, amorous adventures and mistaken mix-ups follow, could the farcical goings on threaten to derail the smooth running of health farm? Surely, Mr Potter won t be tempted to dip his toe into the swimming pool?
