A Thought in Three Parts (1976)

A Thought in Three Parts (1976)

Work:: A Thought in Three Parts (1976) (S01393484825)

Sarah and David return to their hotel room after dinner, but David is still hungry. Bob can't get to sleep in the youth hostel, but neither can Judy, Helen or Dick. Mr Frivolous is enjoying breakfast alone, until his mind begins to wander. Wallace Shawn's A Thought In Three Parts takes a look at sex - alone, in a couple and in a group. This frank and startling look at sex was first produced by Joint Stock at the ICA in 1977, directed by Max Stafford Clark. At the time it caused great controversy, a vice squad visit, a debate in the House of Lords and calls for the funding of the ICA to be withdrawn. Please Note - this play contains sexually explicit material and guidance of 16 years and over is given.
