UWE Drama Society is a democratic society run by students at University of the West of England that put on seven shows a year around Bristol. Recent productions include their September Showcase (including extracts from Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, Macbeth and The Vagina Monologues amongst), Armistice in The Basement, and a showcase of original writing on the theme of war and remembrance. Previous shows over the years have included Patrick Marber's Closer, Moira Buffini's Dinner and Dennis Kelly's Love & Money which they took to Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015.
