A Fistful of Snow archiveA Fistful of Snow tells the story of Oscar-award-winning author Chester James. Since rising to fame from his first novel, The Nullarbor Gunslinger, and lacking any sort of inspiration for a new book, he volunteers himself for a temporary move to Svalbard, a small island near the Arctic circle, to guard the Norwegian government's first Global Seed Vault. He's been there seven months longer than expected, and has started to lose touch with reality. He now spends his days talking to a Moose Head, a dreaming of the life he left behind.
