The old house on Meddins Drive, has a terrifying history and Steve is about to discover what it is. "The Vampyre of Huntley Cross": Miss Colburn lives alone in a beautiful cottage in a small village hidden in the depths of the Shropshire countryside. As a foster carer for stray dogs she takes them in and cares for them until they can be found their 'forever' home. Following a brief on-line conversation a potential owner is invited to meet a lurcher called Harvey. As the meeting progresses, dark secrets are revealed and what started out as a perfectly innocent encounter gradually takes on a more sinister turn.
