London the present day. Two ambitious lawyers, Irfan and Nina, prepare for their wedding day and a dream honeymoon. But despite herself, the normally level-headed Nina has become passionately drawn to Irfan's enigmatic cousin who has flown in for the big day. Does he hold the key to the visions which haunt her? Those nightmares in which she and a nameless stranger are running for their lives towards a river of blood...Soon Nina is caught up in a chain of events which began long before she was born and one that is destined to end in tragedy.
