Part 1 - T722435643Appropriated by Liverpool and Celtic football clubs as their anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone is a song that has the power to unite people. This series of live performances on the streets of Battersea sees an individual attempting to convey feelings of belonging and solidarity to the listener, by singing this anthemic song. Through creating such an intimate scenario, the performance explores the power that pop songs can have in creating shared feelings. This is a free event that will be taking place throughout BURST and cannot be booked.Performer Amy Feneck.

Part 2 - T0915763440Beginning on the city streets, a choir of runners (the Running Ensemble), pace themselves across bridges, through parks and down walkways, before arriving at BAC to sing their anthem. Accompanied only by breathlessness and sweat, their anthem becomes an expression of physical and emotional endurance and unity. By listening to their melodic chorus you'll share a sense of their physical endurance and newly found fellowship. You'll Never Walk Alone attempts to question the location and creation of collective experiences in everyday life. Amy Feneck is also performing You'll Never Walk Alone (Part 1) during BURST.Performer Amy Feneck.
