three zero is a new forty-five minute solo piece weaving together songs, poetry and video, in a montage of material from the last ten years of Marcus Reeves' writing and performance career. The show is an intimate portrait of an artist's relationship with his work, charting the highs and lows of life 'in the business' and the fear and celebration associated with turning thirty. three zero features video design by Finn Ross (Barbican, Old Vic, Complicité, National Theatre of Scotland). The piece was first performed at Bistrotheque as part of their 'Under Construction' series, curated by Lisa Lee (Lipsinkers, Night of a Thousand Jay Astons, Strange Hill).
