Shakespeare's enigmatic love poem is shrouded in mystery. Join historian and TV presenter Michael Wood as he seeks to unlock its meaning, shedding light on the turbulent religious and political times. Starting in the Swan Theatre, this talk is followed by a torchlit procession to Holy Trinity Church, where RSC actors and musicians perform the poem and music in the atmospheric surrounds of the church where Shakespeare was baptised and is buried.
