The Parts I'll Never Play

The Parts I'll Never Play

Work:: The Parts I'll Never Play (S56443456)

Production:: (T01326832319)

The Other Palace is proud to present a night of musical theatre stars performing the songs their casting bracket will never allow them to perform for reals. Hosted by Pippa Evans (Showstopper! The Improvised Musical), each performer will talk about the parts they would love to play, knowing that there are many hurdles that may prevent it ever happening (age, looks and even skill!!) On our inaugural night our special guests include Kaisa Hammarlund (Fun Home, Violet) and Luke Kempner (Les Miserables, Big Brother). More to be announced! Are you a musical theatre performer who would like to take part? Each show will have one up-and-coming MT star showcasing what they don't ever get to do. So if you are always the girl-next-door, how about you give your best Madame Thenardier? Or if you always play the mean guy, how about you belt out Mr Cellophane?

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
