Bird-like old women, mouse-like girls, bear-like men, and teenage boys with something of the jackal about them... we're quite familiar with finding something of the animal in our fellow human beings. But sometimes the boundary between human and beast, and between myth and history can become somewhat blurred. Dominc Kelly's one hour storytelling performance, Crow, traces the life and death of Dominic's own grandfather - a beak-nosed man and a corvid-like trickster. He was born into poverty in the distinctive landscape of the Lancashire Fylde and as a child he slept in a hollow in the floor, but as an adult he charmed, tricked and labored his way determinedly into an affluence that he ultimately found alien. A 1 hour long story-telling short Suitable for 12+ The Crick Crack Club website.
