Come and celebrate life with the Sunday Assembly! There will be interesting talks, poetry, and a good old sing-song. There is no better way to start the day! Come see how Sunday Assembly has taken the globe by storm, offering community without labels and encouraging people to live better, help often, and wonder more. The Sunday Assembly was founded by two comedians, Pippa Evans and Sanderson Jones who decided, after a trip in a car together, that it would be wonderful if something like church existed, but without the God bit. They held their first Sunday Assembly in January 2013 and it was a hit. The positive formula and focus on celebrating life rather than denigrating the religious resonated with so many. Soon enquiries were coming in from all over the globe as to how others could start Sunday Assemblies where they were. In just over a year, there are now 28 across the world with around 100 more preparing to launch in September 2014.
