Story Scratch Quartet: Scratch

Story Scratch Quartet: Scratch

Work:: Story Scratch Quartet: Scratch (S01461642746)

A new performance game from the creator of A House Repeated and The Unbuilt Room. Before we get started, Seth would like to warn you: this story ends with a dragon. But every story ends with a dragon...Seth is working with the epic Beowulf, one of the oldest surviving poems in English - with a new interactive twist in the distinctive style he developed in the sell-out shows A House Repeated and The Unbuilt Room. Returning to Beowulf's oral-storytelling origins, this engaging and fun performance-game immerses the audience in the world of the poem... a thousand years after the Viking hero's monster-slaying adventures were first written down. The audience is in control, working together to explore strange landscapes - and to ask why, after all these years, we still tell each other stories about the monsters that lurk in dark.
