The Village Idiots is a Mask Theatre Company. They create performances that are naturally warm and funny, drawing on all those silly little traits that make us all human. This is heart-warming theatre. In their new show Screwloose, Alan Kee is struggling to assemble flat-pack furniture. Not an easy task as many will testify. But as things progress he ends up losing more than his marbles. Recognising the all-consuming, toe-curling, break up-inducing frustration that putting flat-pack furniture together can provoke, this is a wonderfully funny tale of insanity, love and allen keys.
