The event is organised by Meera Sheth and her fellow students at UCL, to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK, the charity which grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The show includes Bollywood dancing alongside salsa, hip hop, fusion and street. The show will also feature classical Indian music on instruments like the tabla and sitar, with a fashion show showcasing designs by some of the UK's leading Indian fashion companies. Meera says: "Make-A-Wish is a great cause to support. Our committee are all familiar with the good work that they do and wanted to support this unique and inspiring charity. We hope that the funds we raise help Make-A-Wish bring joy to many more children in the future."
