One

Work:: One (S0636648526)

Production:: (T1798443595)

Bertrand Lesca and Nasi Voutsas, are back at HOME with One, the third production in their trilogy of shows tackling contemporary political questions in an immediate, accessible form. The first two, Eurohouse and Palmyra played to great acclaim in our 2017 Orbit Festival. Where Eurohouse considered Greece's relationship with the European Union just as the United Kingdom was deciding whether to leave or remain the EU, and Palmyra offered an allegory of civilisation and barbarism in the light of the Syrian crisis, One takes as its point of departure the polarisation of politics today. Beginning amid the ruins of an unresolved conflict, Bert and Nasi's new piece examines the left through the prism of the right, and the walls we build to protect the difference between what we say and who we really are.
